Recipient of the Club's scholarship for qualifying graduating high school seniors this year 2017 was Maysoon Khan, graduate of Quincy High School, who will be attending Emerson College in the Fall.  Seen here with Awards Committee Chair Carol Johnston before our annual plant auction in June.

HNGC participated  in Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts this year, 2017.  This exquisite arrangement inspired by a 16th century Turkish dish with a rose and tulip design was created by Cynthia Lewis, assisted by Susan Boudreau.

Garden rakes transformed by Deb Nigro into strikingly eye-catching signs were seen at each of the stops on our recent Spring Time by the Sea Garden Tour.

HNGC News 2017

With funding from a Quincy Community Preservation Grant, the HNGC arranged for the transformation of the Leo Kelly Park which took place during the late summer and early fall of 2017.  On the left, Palaza and McDonough remove diseased cherry trees.  On the right, a view of the rear of the park newly landscaped by Seoane's
